On Tuesday September 8th we will be returning to the Nassau County Aquatic Center.
In preparation for our Return to the pool we want to provide you with the following information:
We will be returning to the pool on Tuesday morning September 8th. During the month of September we will only offer our morning sessions (Tuesday and Thursday 6:30AM). This will allow us to adjust as needed and focus on creating a safe atmosphere for everyone. Our evening sessions will be restarting as of Monday night October 5th.
In order to create a safe atmosphere the following guidelines will be followed and we are going to need your assistance:
•All lanes will be limited to 4 swimmers with no exceptions. A reservation system will be implemented through our self service portal – Morning practices are limited to 24 swimmers while evening practices are limited to 12 swimmers. If you do not make a reservation you may not attend practice. Our reservation system will open on September 1st. Additional information will be forthcoming.
•Swimmers will be staggered in the lanes to ensure social distancing. No one is to deviate from this position during practice.
•If you are experiencing any potential symptoms of Covid-19 please stay home and contact us at email@example.com
•No equipment will be provided during practice by Total Masters Swimming. This includes pull buoys, fins, kickboards, etc… If you choose to purchase any equipment for yourself please do not hesitate to ask us for recommendations.
•Please ensure that you label any equipment and water bottles that you bring clearly with your name.
•Swimmers should change and shower at home. However, the locker rooms are open based upon a schedule provided by the facility for cleaning. Please ensure that you check the schedule upon arriving as the coaches will have no knowledge of the schedule.
•You need to wear face masks while walking on the pool deck until you get in the water.
•If you test positive at any time please notify us immediately at firstname.lastname@example.org. All lane assignments will be recorded to allow for contact tracing to occur so we may notify the appropriate swimmers that someone has tested positive.
•All guidelines are subject to change.
